Your walk
In 4.5 km you step around the five ponds of the Zoet Water. You pass by the wonderful baroque Our Lady Chapel of Steenbergen. Nearby springs the Minnebron. Need a refreshing drink? Take a sip from the source and hear the wedding bells ringing in the distance: according to legend, anyone who drinks from the source will meet true love.

Webbekoms Broek Walk
Your walk
Nature reserve Webbekoms Broek is the beautiful flood plain of the Demer and Velpe rivers, on the outskirts of Diest. You explore the historic defensive walls and step through a patchwork of flowery hay meadows, reed beds and willow groves. The walking loops are 3.3, 4.7 and 9 km long.

Picnicking in a real canon? You can just do that here! In visitor center Webbekoms Broek you will learn everything about nature in the area. Had enough hiking? Then go romp around in Provinciedomein Halve Maan nearby.

Stay adventurous and simple in the hiker's huts of the Provinciedomein Halve Maan. In each cabin there is room for four people.

At 9 kilometers, the Bertembos Walk is quite challenging with children. Take a rest at the large playground 't Vossenhol, it is the ideal picnic and relaxation area. There you have a view of the Eikenbos, which has remained unchanged in shape and surface since the Middle Ages.
