Who knows, you might even outpace Eddy Merckx as you climb the Fluxenberg. After all, the cycling legend lives in the area and still enjoys a ride every now and then. At the top of the Fluxenberg, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the capital, with the Atomium and the Basilica of Koekelberg on the horizon. The route also takes you past the Boskapel in Imde, the Meise Botanical Garden—a must-see in any season—and picturesque villages like Oppem and Meuzegem.
