The name says it all: you’ll follow the Dender River for a while through a beautiful stretch of the Pajottenland. Along the way, you’ll pass Kruikenburg Water Castle, the Affligem cycling track, and the Zeppos Mill, and you’ll come face to face with Roosdaal’s most famous figure, the Dikke van Pamel. Make it a Sunday ride, because on Sundays the little neighborhood café with the longest name is open: “In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst” in Eizeringen. The menu is packed with lambic beers.
