Between the Wezembeek and the Kleine Maalbeek
The Kraainem and Wezembeek walk takes you through the green eastern edge along the valleys of the Kleine Maalbeek and the Wezembeek. Along the way you pass the castle domains of Oppem (De Grunne) and the Burbure, silent witnesses of a noble past. Sint-Pietersplein is a protected village site, with the Gothic Sint-Pieterskerk as its proud landmark.
Community center de Kam is the cultural heart of Wezembeek-Oppem. This historic white square farmhouse from the 15th century is bustling with theater, courses, performances and club life, the place where Dutch-speaking people meet and where the courtyard becomes a cozy meeting place in the summer.
