Set out on a hike through the valley landscape of the Dijle and Ijse rivers, a mosaic of small fields and marshy woodlands, scrubland and reed beds, ponds, and canals. Climb out of the Ijse Valley and up through the Margijsbos. The Doode Bemde is one of the most beautiful green gems in the Dijle Valley. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear, as the route can be marshy in places. Along the way, you can enjoy a beer at De Kroon Brewery.
