As you wander through the fields where the provinces of Flemish Brabant, Antwerp, and East Flanders meet, you’ll come across a very special work of art at the corner of a field. The work by Opdorp-based sculptor Roger Van Den Eede is called *Het Middelpunt* (The Center) and stands almost at the geographic center of Flanders. The farmer preferred not to have the artwork in the middle of his plot, so the sculpture was placed at its edge. The actual center is therefore a few dozen meters further away.
