In his work “Aan mijn Payottenland,” writer and poet Pol De Mont (1857–1931) wrote an ode to his native region. And the love is mutual: this walk begins at the literary artist’s birthplace and takes you on a journey of discovery through the village of Wambeek. You’ll pass through the Kouterbroeken nature reserve and near De Troch Brewery, which has been located in a beautiful farmhouse near the village center since 1795.
