A forest walk on wheels? In the Meerdaal Forest, a very accessible path winds its way through the trees that you can also “walk” along in a wheelchair or with a stroller. Start at the entrance gate De Speelberg or De Torenvalk. You’ll pass through a former military area where the bunkers have been cleared away and the heathland and forest are reclaiming the land. From the accessible observation post, you’ll have a beautiful view of the landscape.
