Walk through ancient oak and beech forests that have remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. The relief is playful with deltas and gullies with names like Fox Pit and Wolf's Thistle. A remarkable amount of sweet cherry grows here and in spring there is a white carpet of wood anemones. Out and about with children? In play forest 't Vossenhol they can climb, scramble, swing and romp to their heart's content. The Bertembos and Eikenbos together account for 155 hectares of green adventure.
Practical
The Speelbos 't Vossenhol is located in the Groot Eikenbos subforest and is just under 4 hectares in size. There is also a play area in the Bertembos sub-forest. It is located immediately on the left when entering the forest via Bosstraat.
Both in the play forest 't Vossenhol and in the play zone of the Bertembos sub-forest there are picnic benches.
