Why not brew your own beer? From that thought, a few beer lovers from Huldenberg started the Biergilde Dijleland. In their little test brewery they experiment with recipes until a beer stands out. That gets a name, a label and then goes into production at a recognized brewery. Every second Sunday from October to April, in the center of Huldenberg, you can watch the brewing and, of course, taste it. The beer names refer to Charlepoeng, an 18th-century resistance fighter who was killed in Loonbeek by the French occupiers.
