- In 1795, lambic brewery De Troch was created in a farmhouse.
The installation has remained virtually unchanged and is a gem of archaeological industry. - Around 1984, the brewery caused some commotion in the geuze world by being the first to market exotic beers, such as lambic with banana and with mango.
- In addition to these exotic beers, the brewery also brews kriek and old gueuze.
