- In 1809, brewery Lindemans was founded as a lambic brewery on a farm in Vlezenbeek.
- Because the brewery was more successful than expected, farming activities were discontinued and the family was able to concentrate on brewing Geuze and Krieklambiek.
- In 1978, Faro, a popular popular drink at the time of Breughel, was relaunched after almost disappearing completely from the market.
- After experimenting with lambic, a new and unique type of beer was found: Tea Beer. This beer had a surprising lemony-sweet taste.
