At Brewery Vissenaken, growth and profit are not the main focus, but rather care for people and the environment. Brewer Rudy Scheys consciously runs a small brewery and brews customized beers for customers, associations and beer companies. During a visit, you get a detailed explanation of the artisanal brewing process. You experience brewing with all your senses: seeing, smelling, feeling, hearing and tasting. The whole brewing lingo is covered, from grinding and mashing to fermentation and lagering.
