The story of Domain De Kluizen starts in 1997 when Herman Troch plants the first grape vines within the walls of the former abbey Maria Mediatrix in Affligem. He inherited his passion for wine from his father and grandfather who were skilled fruit winemakers. Today, his vineyard is 2.8 acres. Herman makes white, red, rosé and sparkling wines, respecting nature and using minimal additives. He organizes vinification and tastings at his winery in Herdersem.
