- The museum displays some 400 old folk instruments from the collection of Herman Dewit, founder of folk music group 't Kliekske.
- You will find instruments such as the clog violin, the rumbling pot, the tinkling bomb, the bumblebee and the hurdy-gurdy.
- These instruments appear in several paintings by Bruegel and his sons Pieter and Jan.
- You can feel free to visit the museum without a guide, but the instruments really come to life during an interactive tour. A real musician then gives an extensive demonstration of the instruments you can see in the museum. And who knows, maybe you'll get to try out too!
