He planted his first vines in 2009, but it's not just wine André Dierickx makes on his 1-hectare estate in Opwijk. He also distills an eau de vie from pinot gris, awarded silver at the International Spirits Challenge in 2018. In addition to pinot gris, he also grows cabernet dorsa and merlot. He does so without pesticides, in a very ecological way.
