On the southern slope of the Barenberg in Schaffen lies the Barenberg wine estate, a small-scale, family-run wine estate with about 1,300 vines. The sandy loam and ironstone soil gives the wines their regional character. Since 2015, Philip, together with his wife Virginie, has been taking care of both the work in the vineyard and the vinification. They are happy to show you this for yourself during a tour with tasting. The focus is on white wines and sparkling wine, with hybrid varieties that require minimal treatment.
