Bruut Winery grew out of two projects that found each other. Eric Geyssens and his wife Linda started Wijndomein Dappersveld in Elingen in 2013, followed by family Dehandschutter in 2016, with Sam Dehandschutter as winemaker. In 2022, Eric quit as winemaker. Sam moved the winery to Gooik and resolutely chose sparkling wines. Bruut was born. Unique is the Vineuze, a blend of Bruut and lambic, an ode to the Pajottenland.
