It began as a hobby of Maurice Wuyts with wines for his own use. Daughter Lieve liked to roll up her sleeves with him, and in 2006 father and daughter started Vineyard Liemau on the Houwaartseberg. Since 2019, daughter Lieve, together with her husband Kris and children, has been expanding Wijngaard Liemau, but small scale remains the trump card. Planting, harvesting, pruning and bottling are all done by themselves. With much love for the craft. The result? A range of white, red and rosé wines, and a sparkling sparkling wine.
