With the Sandman as your guide
In Heemmuseum De Botermolen old crafts come back to life. You walk past a Leuven stove and the largest collection of old carts and wagons in Flanders. The landmark of Keerbergen is the Heimolen, an imposing post mill dating from 1706 which comes to life every first Saturday of the month thanks to the young miller Alexander Malomgré.
In front of the town hall is the Zandjan, a statue of a traditional sand colorer who used to bring the washed white sand to the markets with his wheelbarrow. Also notable are the three Dijle bridges: the Old Hans Bridge and the new bridges Wittegoud Bridge and Rainbow Bridge lead you safely across the water.
