Your introduction to lambic country begins at Curieuzegeuze. Zythologist Johnathan Van der Borght started this adventure in 2021 out of love for regional beer. With an enthusiastic team he organizes tastings, events, and travels the region with the Geuze caravan. Since 2025 you can also find their wide selection of lambic beers online.

Location and accessibility
So many lambics, geuzes and kriek beers... where do you start? At Curiousgeuze! The inspirer is Johnathan Van der borght, an expert in beer and everything that comes with it. He is a zythologist, beer guide and worked as logistics manager at Boon Brewery. Inspired by Frank Boon and his sons, Johnathan started his own adventure in 2021: Curiousgeuze.
With a close team of four other 'Curieuzegeuzen' - Tim, Thomas, Gunter and Sam - they bring the local beer story to the general public. You can find them at local fairs and music festivals like Rock Teralfene, often with their recognizable Geuze caravan. They organize tastings, events and since 2025 they also have their own webshop where you can discover a wide range of regional beers and lambic curiosities.
They do not brew their own beer, but Johnathan does have a small amount of their own lambic brewed at brewery Angerik, good for three tons of their own beer. This is how Curiousgeuze keeps the regional tradition alive and accessible for everyone who wants to taste it.
