The Lambikstoempers are the proud ambassadors of lambic and geuze. Since 1999 they bring together lovers of the regional beer with tastings, visits, walks and more. Their mission? To keep the rich beer culture of the Pajottenland and the Zenne Valley alive, with knowledge, passion and a good dose of conviviality.

Location and accessibility
The association of beer lovers saw the light in the heart of Lambic country and quickly grew into a household name in the region, with an agenda full of activities that combine tradition and fun. Every year, they organize the Beer Weekend and the Day of Oude Geuze in Halle, where visitors can taste some eighty lambic beers, from pure, flat lambic to Oude Geuze and fruity creations.
Their passion doesn't stop at tasting alone. The Lambikstoempers are committed to preserving regional identity and recognizing Belgian beer as cultural heritage. They strive to protect and celebrate the brewing tradition, lifestyle and gastronomy of the Zenne Valley. At the same time, they remain curious and innovative, as evidenced by their own creations: the 2014 Cuvée Lambikstoemper in collaboration with Boon Brewery, the 2019 edition with Lindemans and the 2024 version with Timmermans.
As a member of the national beer tasting association Zythos vzw, De Lambikstoempers are at the heart of Belgian beer culture. Every year they award the Golden Lambikstoemper to an on-trade establishment that highlights lambic in the most beautiful way. And if you listen carefully to the stories in Halle, you'll even hear how the famous Duvel Tripel Hop was once born out of a bet with this club.
