Village Brewery Bierbeek breathed new life into the local beer tradition after more than a hundred years of no beer brewing in the community. The brewery consciously chooses to have strong local roots. They combine craft with short chain, social inclusion, heritage and ecology. Local farmers supply part of the raw materials and people with disabilities are involved for packaging and labeling. The brewery has developed its own beer for each borough of greater-Bierbeek. In addition to these four beers, the brewery regularly creates specials for special occasions.
