The MOT - Museum of Old Techniques - brings old crafts and techniques back to life. This playful hands-on museum is spread over three historic sites in Grimbergen: farmstead Guldendal and the water mills Liermolen and Tommenmolen along the Maalbeek. Everything here revolves around muscle power, wind and water. You can see how wood was worked and grain ground, and during demonstrations and workshops you can roll up your sleeves yourself. Not just a museum to look at, but to experience, for young and old.
