Boerenerf is an organic farm and cutting shop on the Sollenberg, an old hamlet of Beersel. Senne Eylenbosch and Vincent Alluin do not brew themselves, but guide brews and wines to become their best selves. "Here ripens everything that fits between lambic and wine," they tell themselves. Boerenerf works with fruit from their own cultivation or fruit straight from the fruit farmer.

Story
Bo Verhaal's offerings are extremely varied, from beers to wines and everything in between. Like Symbiosis, a delicate assemblage of cider, lambic and mead. Or Alsacien, a plum wine macerated with young and old lambic. They also steep their own Oude Geuze and Oude Kriek, and age creations in cognac, calvados or armagnac barrels for extra depth.
Senne Eylenbosch - scion of a well-known brewing family - and Vincent Alluin take a fresh and idiosyncratic approach to the lambic tradition. Their philosophy? "You can only guide brews and wines to become their best selves." That true magic is in each unique barrel. They work with fruit grown in-house or directly from fruit farmers, as well as grapes from different wine regions such as Alsace. Their own cherry farm has some 200 trees.
