Here guards the Hopduvel!
On Asse's Market Square, the Hopduvel watches over, symbol of the stormy wind that ravages the hop vines at the end of August. His beer glass is festively filled during the Hopduvel festivities. At the edge of the community is a hop field with statues of hop saints, surrounded by chapels and rolling fields. In the Mort Subite brewery, lambic, kriek and geuze beers mature in the traditional manner. Rest can be found in the beautiful Waalborrep Park and in the Erfgoedmuseum Asse the Roman past revives.
