Hiking around Sweet Water
The Sweet Water ponds are a wonderful place to walk, rest and have a drink at the water's edge. Children have fun in the Sweet Water Park. At the edge of the woods is Our Lady of Steenbergen Chapel, known for its stories of miraculous healings. Those who drink from the Minnebron are said to find their true love.
Further on, from the wooden watchtower, The Kestrel, you look out over the Meerdaal forest. At the edge of that same forest, the grapes of the pearling Chardonnay Meerdael ripen.
